Thank you for your interest in employment with DeForest Area School District.  We offer outstanding facilities, an environment committed to your professional growth, and a competitive salary and benefits package.  DASD serves 3,600 students with 430 profesional and support staff.  The district is comprised of five 4K community sites, four elementary schools, one middle school (5/6 intermediate and 7/8 upper middle) and one 9-12 high school.  DASD enjoys a long community tradition of scholarship and high achievement both in and outside the classroom.  Parents and the community at large are involved with enhancing learning opportunities at many levels in the system.

You will be forwarded to the WECAN website where DeForest Area School District jobs are posted.  WECAN is the Wisconsin Education Career Access Network.  We post our administrative, certified, and support staff positions on WECAN.  For Teaching positions the following attachments must be submitted:  a cover letter, resume, copy of your teaching license, transcripts and three letters of reference.  A set of district questions must also be answered.

You will need to register with WECAN to view and apply for open positions.  Registration with WECAN is free and confidential.  The school district does not have access to the names of individuals who register with WECAN and only sees the names of persons who apply for an open position in our school district.  Our District does not accept paper applications or copies of resumes, etc. for posted positions.  All documents must be submitted online through WECAN.
