Registration for the 2016-17 school year!

During the school year, please follow the registration procedures below.

High school students register in the main office at the high school
815 Jefferson Street, DeForest - (608) 842-6600.

Middle school students register at the main office at the middle school
404 Yorktown Road, DeForest - (608) 842-6000.

Elementary - Students in kindergarten through grade four register at the school they will attend.  Questions about attendance areas can be directed to the District Administrative Center at 842-6579.

PLEASE NOTE:  NEW families enrolling their students in DeForest Area School District are required to provide proof of residency.  Suggested documents for proof of residency are:  signed lease/rental agreement, utility bill, driver's license, signed home purchase contract.  This does not include families/students currently enrolled in the DeForest Area School District. Questions regarding this requirement can be directed to the office of the Office of Administrative Services at 842-6579.

  Sport Fee $75 for the first sport; $15 for each additional sport
  Parking Permit $50 per space (required for a space in parking lot)

The fee structure provides a uniform fee for all students. Program fees replace individual charges to students for purchases such as assignment notebooks, recorders, band books, science supplies, workbooks, practice sets and specialty paper.

Fees may be waived by the school principal for students whose family income qualifies for free lunch under federal school lunch guidelines.

Activity Passes for school year

The ticket price for regular season high school athletic event is $4. The school district offers discounted yearly ticket packages as follows:

Family:  $125
Adult:  $50
Student*:  $35
Senior Citizen:  Free
(60 and older)

* Please note that admission to DPL home hockey games is free to students who show a school ID.

Emergency Information

Completed registration forms provide valuable information for school officials - they are our primary means of knowing how to reach parents/guardians.  Please help us keep your child's records up-to-date.  You can view current student and emergency information on-line through Family Access.  Please contact your child's school with any changes.  To obtain your personal access code and password, contact your child's school. (4K families shoud call EPES).
