GSA - DeForest Area School District Website


		DHS GSA is a youth leadership organization which promotes a safe environment in our school. Our goals are to educate the school community about homophobia, gender identity, and sexual orientation issues, and to fight discrimination, harassment, and violence in our school. Meetings are held to brainstorm new ideas and for support.

		GLSEN seeks to develop school climates where difference is valued for the positive contribution it makes in creating a more vibrant and diverse community. We welcome as members any and all individuals, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or occupation, who are committed to seeing this philosophy realized in K-12 schools.

		GSA for Safe Schools is a public benefit organization committed to safe middle schools and high schools for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender youths and all students.
