The DeForest Area School District is working collaboratively with a variety of agencies to implement our plan for dealing with potential issues related to the current outbreak of H1N1 Influenza. We are continuing efforts to encourage students and staff to frequently and effectively wash hands. Hand washing is one of the best defenses against infection of any type! Parents, please keep children who are ill home until they are healthy enough to be in school with others. We will share current and accurate information as it becomes available. Below you will find links to helpful information about H1N1.
Please contact Ann Higgins, Director of Administrative Services, if you have any questions about the District's plans and response to H1N1. You may also call your health care provider or Public Health--Madison and Dane County at 266-4821.
