As Student Advocates we:
Have a heart to care, ears to listen, time to give, ideas to share, and an open mind. We don't have a magic wand to fix all your problems, but we promise that you won't have to face it alone.
Teach life skills class and cover lessons like bullying and conflict resolution, protective behaviors, mental health, diversity, and more.
Collaborate with staff, families, and students to support our students and help them reach their full potential.

Hi All! I'm Ms. Janes, and this is my 3rd year at Harvest as an Advocate but 7th year in education.
About Me:
I have a black cat named Stark
I love cheeseburgers
I love to play volleyball
Fantasy books are my favorite genre to read
I like to start crossword puzzles but rarely finish them
I have officially set foot in 5 countries: Scotland, Holland, Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic

5th Grade Student Advocate
Hello, I'm Ms.Lor and I'm the 5th grade Student Advocate. This is my 5th year working in the Deforest Area School District (I spent my first two years at the middle school).
About Me:
I live with my wife Marina, puppy Ayla, and guinea pig Mochi.
These are things I love: playing board games, super smash bros, food, anime, Hmong stuff, team sports, and fishing.

Hi! I'm Mrs. Rairden, and this is my 3rd year at Harvest and my 19th year working in schools.
About Me:
I live with my husband, Jeff, our 3 boys, and our dog named Simon.
I love watching my kids in their sports and activities, reading books, doing DIY projects around the house, and watching movies. I also love paddle boarding in the summer!
