Applicants must be able to meet the specific entrance requirements and have participated in an American Legion sponsored activity and have family ties to a living relative that is a currently a member of the The American Legion or Auxiliary. The applicant may also be a member of The American Legion, an SAL member or member of the Auxiliary.
The following shall be considered by the judges when deciding the relative merit of the applicant: Moral character - a commitment to the American way of life and its institutions, scholastic excellence of the applicant, participation and accomplishment in American Legion affiliated activities, personality, leadership and participation in general extra-curricular activities. |

The Italian Workman's Club (IWC) is a fraternal organization of Italian Americans. $5,000 total in scholarship money is given out each year.
Criteria:
- Be a senior in a Dane County high school or the immediate family member of an IWC or IAWC member
