Our Mission:

The mission of the DeForest Area High School Cheerleading is to promote and uphold school spirit, unity and pride. We will represent DAHS to the highest degree through supporting our athletic programs, competing at the local, regional, and state level and by participating in community events and service projects. Athletes in our program will foster the lifelong values and skills needed to become a better person and a contributing member of our society. Your role as a DAHS cheerleader is to demonstrate a positive leadership ability to yourself, your teammates, your school, and your community. In addition, you will continuously add skill and talent to the team through hard work, dedication, and commitment.

The Purpose of the DeForest Area High School Cheer Team:

• Cheer and perform at all home and away football games as well as home girls and boys basketball games depending on season, participating in competitions is by placement only!
• Promote respect, school spirit, good sportsmanship, and goodwill for all high school activities regardless of sex, race, creed, religion, and sexual orientation.
• Develop responsibility, teach self-respect, encourage honest effort, strive for perfection and develop good moral character.
• Teach teamwork and pride in a quality performance through maintaining high standards.
