The WPTO plays a key in supporting Windsor Elementary by working with families and staff to coordinate many events throughout the year. All of these events are possible because of the commitment of our volunteers.
What does it take to be a PTO volunteer?
- Time. This could be as little as an hour or many days. It is up to you how much time you have to commit to helping us out. Honestly, we will take what we can get and are for all the help we can get.
- A sense of humor. Let's face it, we are dealing with kids and when you are dealing with kids anything can happen and you just have to roll with it. But then again, that is half the fun...
- The desire to have FUN. At the end of the day it is all about having a little bit of fun doing something goofy with our children and having a good laugh at the adventures we end up taking on as volunteers
So many things are only made possible by the involvement of parents and guardians of our students. Whether it is an hour or a week it all makes a huge difference.

Book Fairs
Come join us at Windsor Elementary for our Scholastic Book Fairs! These events offer an opportunity for students of all ages to build their home libraries and further their love of reading. There is a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. As always, all purchases benefit our school by earning Scholastic Dollars that our school can use for books for classrooms, and other needs.
- October 27-29, 2025: Fall Book Fair
- February 23-25, 2026: Spring Book Fair
Book Fairs will be located in the Staff Lounge (near the library and music room)

- We have a big need for volunteers! The book fair might not be able to run full time if we don't have volunteers. This is also a great opportunity for high school students looking for volunteer time.
