Six DAHS students participated in the Badger Conference Honors Band November 14 & 15 under the direction of Dr. Craig Hancock from Warburg College in Iowa.
Seven DASD staff members have been honored as nominees to the 2017 Herb Kohl Fellowship program. The Kohl Fellowship program recognizes and supports teaching excellence and innovation in the State of Wisconsin. The group was recognized by school board members at their Nov. 14 meeting. DASD has formed an advisory committee to develop a recommendation for the Board of Education regarding elementary school boundaries for the 2017-18 school year and beyond. A representative group of elementary school parents, pre-school parents, teachers, and district administrators are meeting from November to February to develop a recommendation for consideration by the Board of Education.read more
